“Can I Save Online Videos to My Computer?”
Posted by Joe CannonYes you can – sometimes. It might be helpful to have a copy of a YouTube video or commercial on your computer hard drive — so you don’t have to rely on an internet connection to show it in class. A friend introduced me to a website (KeepVid) which allows you to download videos from YouTube and other sites. I have found this doesn’t work on all sites, including BusinessWeek and The Wall Street Journal. Still, for videos that download, you can show them in class without the need for a fast Internet connection.
