This Wall Street Journal video and article combination, “The Demographics Driving Nations’ Wealth” (August 12, 2010 – click here if the link on the article title does not work) provide a nice commentary on the implications of changing demographics on different global markets.  The short video provides a nice supplement to chapter 5 in our Basic Marketing book where we have an extensive look at global demographic trends.  Also posted at Learn the 4 Ps.
